Role Overview:
We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic volunteer to join our marketing team. As a Volunteer for Marketing, you will assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our programs and events, engage with our community, and increase our organization's visibility. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing within the dynamic world of tech startups.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in creating and executing marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, and our website.
Develop content for social media posts, newsletters, blog articles, and other marketing materials.
Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Support the organization and promotion of events, workshops, and webinars.
Help manage and grow our social media presence by engaging with our audience and increasing follower engagement.
Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop innovative marketing ideas and strategies.
Maintain and update our marketing databases and contact lists.
Requirements:
Passion for startups, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Creativity and an eye for design.
Experience with social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram).
Basic understanding of marketing principles and digital marketing tools.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and familiarity with design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus.
